The Brenta’s Riviera in the North-East of Italy, is a zone full of Eighteenth century villas, and Villa Pisani is truly the Queen of these.
We were curious to find out what it keeps so jealously within its walls, and it was love at first sight.
The garden is a real carnival for the eyes, with an atmosphere of another era. A fascinating scenery.
The giant fountain on the central parterre is surrounded by a large park full of small secrets to be discovered in every corner.
Statues, towers and gazebo tamed by ivy sprouting everywhere in the trees, creating a magical setting.

La Riviera del Brenta, nel Nordest, è una zona ricca di ville del ‘700 e Villa Pisani è senza dubbio la Regina di queste.
Eravamo curiosi di scoprire cosa custodisse tanto gelosamente all’interno delle sue mura, ed è stato amore a prima vista.
Il giardino è un vero e proprio carnevale per gli occhi, immerso nell’atmosfera di un’altra epoca. Una scenografia affascinante.
La gigantesca fontana nel parterre centrale è circondata da un grandissimo parco carico di piccoli segreti da scoprire.
Statue, torri e gazebo domati dall’edera spuntano ovunque tra gli alberi, dando vita a uno scenario magico.

You can walk for a long, long time, through the old greenhouses, stables, orangery, until the most attractive part of the villa: the maze.
Getting in is a must. Losing the compass between the hedges is easy, and sometimes you need a long time to reach the exit.
What a challenge for us!
Our advice is to visit Villa Pisani on a beautiful sunny day, when the colors of the plants give the best show. Enjoy all the time needed to lost through the garden. Then, you should know that every first Sunday of the month entrance is free. So, what else!?
If the Villa Pisani park is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Italy there must be a reason!
No need to say that we will return to visit it in the summer, looking forward to see the other side of this Riviera’s jewel.

Si può camminare a lungo, molto a lungo, passando tra le vecchie serre, le scuderie, l’orangerie, fino alla parte più affascinante della villa: il labirinto.
Entrare è un obbligo. Perdere l’orientamento tra le siepi semplicissimo. A volte serve parecchio tempo per riuscire a raggiungere l’uscita.
Pane per i nostri denti!
Il nostro consiglio è di visitarlo in una bella giornata di sole, quando i colori delle piante regalano lo spettacolo più bello, e di concedersi tutto il tempo necessario per perdersi e fantasticare immersi nel giardino. Inoltre ogni prima domenica del mese l’ingresso è gratuito, cosa si può volere di più!
Se il parco di Villa Pisani è considerato uno dei parchi più belli d’Italia un motivo c’è!
Non serve nemmeno dire che torneremo a visitarlo in estate. Non vediamo l’ora di scoprire l’altra faccia di questo scrigno della Riviera.
