Da dove possiamo cominciare? Forse dal fatto che il The Village Coconut Island Resort si trova sulla spiaggia di un’isola deserta coperta di giungla tropicale! Che ne dite?

Noi diciamo che i nostri giorni a Phuket sono partiti alla grande.

Questo Resort con la R maiuscola si affaccia direttamente su una spiaggia privata lunga 500mt con vista su Phang Nga Bay.

Un luogo fuori dai giri trafficati e vitali di Phuket, appena a 5 minuti di taxi-boat dalla costa orientale. Ma è proprio questo il cavallo di battaglia del The Village Coconut Island Resort. La gente viene qua per staccare completamente, rilassarsi e  godersi la pace di un’isola naturale e incontaminata.

E’ stato un mese molto intenso esplorando la Thailandia da nord a sud, e quello di cui avevamo bisogno è esattamente quello che abbiamo trovato qui: un covo romantico dove schiacciare il tasto PAUSA e recuperare le di energie.

Where do we begin? Well maybe telling that The Village Coconut Island Resort is located on the beach of an empty island covered by tropical jungle! What do you think?

We can say that our stay in Phuket began on top!

This Resort, with a capital R, stands directly on a private beach, 500 meters long and overlooking Phang Nga Bay.

A place definitely off the busiest and vital streets of Phuket, just a 5-minute taxi-boat from the east coast. But that’s the best point of The Village Coconut Island Resort. People come here to get away from their busy life, relax and enjoy the peace of an untouched and natural island.

It’s been a very busy month exploring Thailand from north to south, and what we needed right now is exactly what we found here: a romantic hideout where we could put our life on PAUSE and recharge our energy.

C’è da dire che è facile notarlo da subito arrivando in barca al molo proprio davanti alla spiaggia, con le ville affacciate direttamente sul mare e le file di palme a fare da cornice. Poi una volta smontati siamo stati accolti con dei sorrisi che solo i thailandesi sanno regalare. Sembra poco ragazzi, ma vi la serenità in questo paese è contagiosa!

Since arriving by boat to the pier, with the villas overlooking the sea and the palm trees in the background, it was easy to realize how relaxed and peaceful this place was. Then once we got off we’ve been greeted with the smiles that only Thai people can give. It sounds easy guys, but we assure you that the serenity in this country is contagious!

La nostra stanza per tre giorni è diventata la nostra casa. 

Un piccolo appartamento con piscina privata con vista sulla baia, interni studiati e persino la cucina. E cosa ve ne siete fatti della cucina vi starete chiedendo? All’interno del Resort c’è un piccolo market provvisto di tutto quello che serve per cucinare e mangiare direttamente nella propria stanza. Geniale!

Our room for three days became our home.

A small apartment with a private pool overlooking the bay, with interior well thought and even a full fitted kitchen. “So what would you do with a kitchen?”, you might ask. Within the Resort there is a small market that has everything you need to cook and eat in your room. Brilliant!

Perdersi a camminare in mezzo al resort comunque diventa una bellissima abitudine! Anche se la nostra camera era a pochi minuti di cammino dall’ingresso e dal ristorante principale non potevamo fare a meno di vagare ogni volta tra le stradine circondate da piante tropicali e canne di bamboo. Ah, che relax!

Vorremmo portarvi qua per farvi capire quello di cui stiamo parlando! Nel frattempo però vi forniamo un po’ di link così vi fate un’idea di questo posto pazzesco!

Get lost walking in the middle of the resort was a great habit! And Even if our room was just few minutes walking from entrance and the main restaurant, we could not lose the chance to wander every time through the streets surrounded by tropical plants and bamboo canes. Ah, what a great relax!
