Dopo un mese di esplorazione del Vietnam, sapevamo che la nostra ultima tappa in questo paese sarebbe stata perfetta per goderci un po’ di relax. Abbiamo deciso quindi di chiudere in bellezza con l’isola Phu Quoc.

In pochi sanno di questo piccolo paradiso tropicale a sud del Vietnam, ma l’isola si sta evolvendo sempre di più e molto rapidamente.

A Phu Quoc abbiamo alloggiato al Novotel Resort. Conoscerete sicuramente la catena Novotel del gruppo Accor Hotels, presente in tutto il mondo.

Questo è un resort nuovo, inaugurato recentemente e in una splendida posizione fronte mare, annidato nel cuore di Cua Lap.

E’ il punto di partenza perfetto per esplorare l’isola, perché si trova a pochi chilometri dall’aeroporto e da Duong Dong, e per spostarsi verso città ci sono le navette gratuite organizzate dell’hotel.

After a month exploring Vietnam, we knew that the last stage in this country was all about relax. That’s why we’ve saved the best for last in Phu Quoc Island.

In Phu Quoc we stayed at Novotel Resort. For sure you know Novotel of the worldwide company Accor Hotels Group.

It’s a new resort, recently inaugurated and in a beautiful spot in front of the sea, on Cua Lap heart.

It’s the perfect starting point to explore the island, because it’s close to the Airport and from Duong Dong with shuttles managed by the hotel to reach the city center.

Però, diciamoci la verità, chi vuole uscire da un paradiso del genere? La nostra Pool Villa fronte mare (date un’occhio anche sulla nostra pagina Instagram) era uno di quei posti che normalmente si vedono solo nei cataloghi di viaggio con gli occhi lucidi. Probabilmente la stanza più grande in cui abbiamo alloggiato fino ad oggi.

Ampia, moderna e fronte mare. Perfetta per respirare il clima tropicale di quest’isola.

But who wants to go outside this paradise? We got a Pool Villa beach view (look at our Instagram feed). Do you know the pictures from travel catalogues? Got it! Probably the biggest room ever, for us!

Wide and well designed. Perfect to breath this island tropical climate.

Ci sono una palestra, due campi da tennis, un kids club, un bar fronte mare, due ristoranti di cui uno di pesce, vengono organizzati eventi di cucina locale durante il weekend e il servizio in camera è sempre disponibile. Seriamente, cosa si può volere di più?

Il personale è super disponibile e parla perfettamente inglese. Ci hanno assistito sin dal momento della prenotazione, il che è tornato estremamente utile non conoscendo la zona. C’è poco da fare, si vede quando un’hotel funziona!

There are a gym, two tennis courts, a kids club, a beachfront bar, two restaurants, one fish, local cuisine events are held over the weekend and the room service is always available. Seriously, what else?

Staff have been very available with a great english. We’ve been assisted from booking and it was good because we didn’t know the surroundings.

It’s easy when a hotel works properly!

Dopo una lunga giornata in giro per l’isola, un po di relax serale era quello di cui avevamo bisogno. Cosa scegliere: la spiaggia o la piscina fronte mare? In un caso o nell’altro potevamo stare senza nessun problema fino a tardi. E goderci il più bel tramonto dell’isola. Key word: Benessere!!

E il cibo? Mai vista una scelta così vasta, dalla colazione alla cena!

After a whole day around some evening relaxed time was just like honey. What do you prefer: The sea or beachfront swimming pool? Pick what you want and enjoy the most beautiful sunset on the island. Key word: wellness!

What about the food: we love Vietnamese food but we never seen a choice like this from breakfast to dinner!
