All’Intercontinental® Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort l’abbiamo sperimentato a 360°. Questo luogo ci ha regalato una luna di miele perfetta.

Abbiamo chiuso decisamente  in bellezza il primo round in Thailandia. Questo Resort a 5 stelle è stata la nostra ultima casa a Koh Samui.

Si trova nel versante occidentale dell’isola, immerso in una piantagione di palme da cocco, e affacciato sulla spiaggia di Baang Taling Ngam. Questa parte di Samui, decisamente più lontana dalla vita movimentata di Lamai e Chaweng, ci ha proiettato verso un’altro mondo. Eravamo a contatto diretto con la natura tropicale e il mare, immersi tra le terrazze di palme dove si incastrano perfettamente tutte le stanze del resort.

Che poi, diciamoci la verità, non è affatto un resort come gli altri, ma sembra più un piccolo paese dove si potrebbe passeggiare per ore.

The Intercontinental® Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort gives us the opportunity to engage with the beautiful and unspoiled surrounding environment. This place it’s been the setting for a perfect honeymoon.

This 5 star hotel was the last place we stayed in Koh Samui…and what a perfect way to spend our last days in Thailand.

The resort, situated on the west coast, is in the middle of a coconut plantation just in front of Baang Taling Ngam beach. This part of the island is much more quite than Lamai and Chaweng areas and it lead us into another world. We were connected to the tropical nature and to the sea, surrounded by palm trees terraces where all the rooms are placed .

Honestly it’s not a resort like the others. It truly looks like a small town where you can wandering for hours.

La nostra Club Intercontinental Beachfront Pool Villa era un perfetto nido romantico, e la nostra piscina privata era affacciata direttamente sul mare.

Un lusso per godersi la luce del pomeriggio sorseggiando un coconut fruit shake, o uno degli illimitati soft-drink del nostro minibar compresi nel pacchetto Club Intercontinental.

Entrare in questa stanza significava essere avvolti in una morbida sensazione di benessere. Non mancava proprio nulla, ci sentivamo esattamente come a casa. Anzi, meglio.

Our Club Intercontinental Beachfront Pool Villa was a cozy little love nest, and our private pool was just in front of the sea.

The luxury perfect spot to relax and to enjoy the afternoon sun, sipping coconut fruit shakes or the endless varieties of complementary soft drinks available in our mini bar, included in Club Intercontinental benefits.

Entering in a room like this means being welcomed by a soft wellness feeling. Nothing was missing and we felt exactly like home. Maybe better.

Tutto eccezionale, partendo da una colazione 10 e lode (qualunque tipo di cibo o bevanda si possa desiderare), alla SPA in cima al promontorio, dalla palestra che si affaccia direttamente sul mare, al molo panoramico lungo 100 metri dove godersi dei tramonti mozzafiato.

Da qui partono inoltre motoscafi per il Parco Marino di Ang Thong (noi l’abbiamo già visto l’anno scorso e vi assicuriamo che è uno dei paradisi più intatti che esistano), o per l’isola di Koh Phangan.

Everything was outstanding, 10 out of 10, starting from the breakfast in the morning (every kind of food or beverage you can desire), moving to the spa centre on the hill top, the gym with a sea view and the 100 meters long panoramic pier, where you can enjoy amazing sunsets.

From the pier you can get daily tours to the Ang Thong Marine park  (we’ve been there last year and it’s truly one of the most beautiful untouched places we’ve ever seen) or to Koh Phangan insland.

Essere parte del Club Intercontinental significa essere viziati tutto il giorno. Il tea time delle 5 al Serene Bar è stato il nostro appuntamento quotidiano preferito!

E subito dopo al tramonto arriva l’Happy Hour all’ Air Bar. Cornice perfetta per godersi con un drink il sole che cala, prima di andare a cena in uno dei due ristoranti pluri-premiati presenti nel Resort.

Siamo stati ospiti una sera al Ristorante Amber, affacciato direttamente sul Golfo della Thailandia. Tema della serata: Tappanyaki Night. Il Master Chef giapponese sfornava continui piatti di sushi e pesce fresco.

Being members of Club Intercontinental means have lot of daily benefits. Tea time at Serene Bar it’s been our favorite daily break.

And when the sun goes down, why not enjoying a fantastic Happy Hour at the Air Bar? It is the perfect spot if you want to enjoy the sunset, while having a cocktail, before heading inside to the two award winning restaurants for dinner.

One evening we were guests in the Amber Restaurant, a lovely place overlooking the Thai Gulf. Dinner theme: Tappanyaki Night. The Japanese Master Chef cooked lot of fresh seafood and delicious sushi. Take us back please.
