Ang Thong: Paradise got its name!
It’s an archipelago of 42 islands west of Koh Phangan, covered by a dense tropical jungle full of exotic animals. The beauty of this place is simply shocking, and it is impossible not to love it at first sight.
We thought it was worth spending a day out of Phangan so we booked a speed boat with few other people and in one hour we reached the Natural Park. At the arrival our eyes shone and we only looked around us in confused by beauty. Emerald water reaches a beach embraced by sea-looking walls of the rock making all just surreal. We took a kayak to discover the hidden caves in the cliffs, visited the green Ko Mae Ko Laguna where the movie The Beach was filmed, and reached the highest scenic view peak of Koh Wa Talab, where the view on the archipelago is unmatched.
It ‘was a unique experience touching the power of nature there.

Il paradiso terrestre ha un nome: Ang Thong.
Un arcipelago di 42 isole a Ovest di Koh Phangan, ricoperte da una fitta giungla tropicale nella quale vivono numerosi animali esotici. La bellezza di questo posto è sconvolgente ed è impossibile non innamorarsene all’istante.
Abbiamo pensato valesse la pena vedere di più, così abbiamo prenotato una speedboat con pochi altri e in un’ora abbiamo raggiunto il Parco Naturale. All’arrivo i nostri occhi brillavano e riuscivamo solamente a guardarci attorno con il fiato sospeso. L’acqua color smeraldo che bagna le spiagge chiuse tra le pareti di roccia a strapiombo sul mare rendeva tutto surreale. Ci siamo avventurati in kayak alla scoperta delle grotte nascoste tra le scogliere, visitato la Laguna verde Ko Mae Ko dove è stato girato il film The Beach, e raggiunto Koh Wa Talab, la vetta dalla quale il panorama sull’arcipelago è impareggiabile.
E’ stata un’esperienza irripetibile sentire il potere della natura in questo posto.

Ciao Valeria, il tour lo puoi trovare nelle numerose agenzie in loco sparse per tutta l’isola di Phangan o Samui.
È un tour molto gettonato quindi sarà davvero impossibile non trovarlo.
Consiglio: meglio prenderlo direttamente li che affidarsi a delle agenzie online delle quali non hai un riferimento fisico una volta arrivata nell’isola.
